High School Curriculum Options

ERCLC offers a wide variety of options for high school students. Most of our high school students take advantage of our flexible schedule and begin working or taking college classes while also working towards their high school diploma. Each option below allows students tremendous opportunity to begin their college or career journey before graduation. 

Grades 9-12 @ Home

English Core @ Home

Oak Meadow


 

Rich in literature and writing, this curriculum is designed for homeschooling families. In-depth reading and writing; clear directions and parent support.

English 9/10

This Google Classroom course includes monthly units with directed reading and writing. This course can be taken once while in high school.

English 11/12 Creative Writing

This Google Classroom course includes WEEKLY assignments that are submitted and graded by ERCLC ELA teachers. This course can be taken once while in high school. 

Family-designed ELA for grades 9-12

6+1 Writing in addition to monthly book reports. Families select the books and report styles. Presentations are given to the EC after each novel is completed.

Math Core @ Home

Mathematics Vision Project

This is a three year series of courses that cover algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.  Students that use this curriculum are ready to take college statistics or pre-calculus upon completion.

Science Core @ Home

Oak Meadow

Teacher’s guides, reading, suggested activities/labs using simple materials for Environmental Science, Physical Science, and Biology. Chemistry includes a lab kit. 

Science Texts (Variety)

Each text offers section review questions, assessments and optional labs to be completed at home. Monthly assignments are provided by your EC. Subjects include Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Environmental Science.

Social Studies Core @ Home

World History &

U.S. History

This course uses National Geographic textbooks to support learning. Monthly assignments are provided by your EC

Civics

This is an independent study course that includes a monthly pacing guide, an essay activity, and a DBQ (Document-based question).

Economics

This is an independent study course that includes a monthly pacing guide, a DBQ assignment, and a final exam.
